What is The Flea Off Market?
The Flea Off Market, in downtown Louisville, KY, is a community showcase of artists, craftspersons, collectors, entrepreneurs, farmers, & anybody that just wants to have a "yard sale" with us.
How much does it cost to be a vendor?
For all but special off-site events (Monnik, The Holiday Bazaar), fees to vend are as follows:
10’x10’ booth space --- $85 on Saturdays, $70 on Sundays
10’x20’ --- $150 on Saturdays, $125 on Sundays
10’x30’ --- $215 on Saturdays, $180 on Sundays
Farmers & Non-Profit Organizations may receive free or discounted booth-space. Please contact Nathan by phone at (502)-552-0061 to see if you would like to see about participating for free or at a discounted rate.
For that fee, we provide just the booth space; we don’t require you to set up a tent or tables, but you may; you can bring your own, or rent tents or tables from us (more on that on the sign-up form)
Admission for patrons is free.
How do I become a vendor?
It is pretty easy! Please just fill out the application for the event/date at which you want to vend. Applications can be found at TheFleaOffMarket.org. Some of our events are open to all vendors and if you apply you can pretty much expect to be "accepted"; meaning pretty much anybody can reserve a space with us to vend/sell/advertise/promote their wares/business/mission*. However, some of our events are juried. Whether they are juried or not juried depends on the amount of space we have, the type of event we are going for, and some other factors. (*NOTE: We do not allow direct marketing sales. We also reserve the right to prohibit the exhibition or sale of any items that may be deemed offensive or threatening to our patrons, vendors, and/or staff. This may include, but is not limited to, products or images that are perceived to alienate a certain group based on race, gender, or sexual orientation. We also reserve the right to restrict the sale of any animals. If you have something to exhibit or sell about which you are uncertain, please call Nathan to discuss (502-552-0061).
What if I am a food vendor?
Food vendors work a little bit differently. If your food is prepackaged to take home, we treat you like a “regular” vendor (see above.) However, if you are a food truck, a snack vendor (ice cream, fair food), or someone selling food items that are ready-to-eat and meant to be consumed on site, please sign up and we will get back to you ASAP to let you know if we have room for you. We limit the amount of food to try to ensure success for all!
How do I pay?
Our events are now pre-pay only. We will send you an invoice through Square. If paying with Flea Bucks, you can mail or drop them off at the address listed in the invoice. The invoice will include options to pay by credit card or ACH check.
When & where are the markets?
